What is time? Our lives are governed by it. Yet time itself is merely an illusion—a concept we have constructed to categorize and measure our physical reality. But what does time look like in our physical reality?

This series of photographs is a visual representation of time as a construct. A series of photographs taken at the same time, in the same place, for 30 sequential days in each season of one calendar year. The location and technique were chosen specifically to strip the photographs of any identifiable subject—the subject is the light and color and, of course, time.
