Title: Chromatic Formations II

From the series: Yellowstone National Park’s geothermal pools and hot springs are otherworldly, literally. On the micro level, tiny micro-organisms create impossibly vivid reds, yellows, blues, and greens. In Chromatic Formations, I get up close to draw out those colors and textures that have percolated over millennia. At this scale, they can sometimes resemble other landscapes—rolling hills, terraced fields, or a beach with crystal clear water.
